Why SupportSyndicate exists

Most customer support software is still priced like it's 2014: per seat, per agent, per resolution. Teams that grow their support volume get punished twice — once for adding agents, again for the AI add-on that's supposed to make those agents unnecessary. We kept watching small Shopify brands and growing SaaS teams pay $1,500–$4,000 a month for tools that, in practice, deflected fewer than half their tickets.

At the same time, "AI" became a marketing word slapped on top of decision-tree chatbots that hallucinated freely and escalated nothing. Customers learned to skip the bot. CX leaders stopped trusting deflection numbers. The whole category needed a reset.

We built SupportSyndicate around three opinions: retrieval-augmented generation grounded in your real knowledge base — not a generic LLM guessing your refund policy; flat monthly pricing with hard token caps so your bill never surprises you; and honest escalation, where the AI knows when to stop and hand the conversation to a human with full context. Native Shopify and WooCommerce integrations were day-one features because that's where the painful WISMO volume lives. WhatsApp came next because customers already live in WhatsApp and the legacy vendors charge per message.

Where we're based

We're a team of 1-10 working remotely with a home base in Denver, CO. We're independent, profitable, and not raising from anyone we don't want to call back. That lets us keep pricing flat and ship the product the way operators actually want it built.
