SupportSyndicate + Slack

Real-time escalation alerts, CSAT digests, and ticket summaries — delivered to your Slack workspace.

SupportSyndicate's Slack integration delivers configurable support notifications — escalations, SLA breaches, CSAT scores, and knowledge gap alerts — to your chosen Slack channels in real time. Teams use it to keep the support-on-call loop fast without requiring agents to monitor a separate inbox continuously. Notifications are thread-based, so replies and resolution updates for the same ticket stay organized in a single Slack thread.

What data flows between the two systems

Every event, record, and update that passes between SupportSyndicate and Slack.

Escalation alertsSS sends

Sends a Slack message to a configurable channel when the AI escalates a conversation, including customer name, issue summary, sentiment, and a direct conversation link.

SLA breach warningsSS sends

Posts a warning to #support-alerts when a ticket approaches its first-response SLA deadline, and a second message if the SLA is breached.

CSAT score notificationsSS sends

Posts CSAT submissions to a reporting channel, including the score, customer name, and any written feedback.

Daily digestSS sends

Sends a configurable daily summary at a set time: tickets opened, AI resolution rate, average CSAT, and any SLA breaches.

Knowledge gap alertsSS sends

Notifies the team when the AI escalates multiple conversations with the same unanswered question — a signal to add a new help article.

How to set up the Slack integration

Most teams are live in under 15 minutes. No developer required.

01

Install the Slack app

In SupportSyndicate Dashboard → Integrations → Slack, click Install to Slack. Authorize the app to post to your workspace — no admin access required for standard channels.

02

Map notification types to channels

Assign each notification type to a Slack channel: escalations to #support-urgent, CSAT to #support-csat, daily digest to #support-summary.

03

Configure filters

Optionally filter escalation alerts by sentiment (negative only) or by tag, so high-volume workspaces don't flood channels with low-priority events.

04

Test a notification

Open a test conversation in SupportSyndicate, trigger an escalation, and confirm the Slack message arrives in the correct channel within 5 seconds.

What teams use this integration for

On-call escalation loop

Escalated tickets page the on-call agent in Slack directly, so the team doesn't need to monitor the inbox continuously outside business hours.

SLA accountability

SLA breach warnings in #support-alerts create visible accountability without requiring a manager to manually check the queue.

CSAT celebration channel

Post 5-star CSAT scores to a #wins channel to boost team morale and identify which agents or AI flows are performing best.

Knowledge gap workflow

Knowledge gap alerts in #support-content trigger a writing task for the content team, closing the loop on missing documentation within days.

Frequently asked questions

Can agents reply to tickets from Slack?

Not directly in the current integration — Slack is notification-only. Agents click the conversation link in the Slack message to open the full thread in SupportSyndicate. Two-way reply from Slack is on the roadmap.

Which Slack plan is required?

The integration works with Slack Free, Pro, Business+, and Enterprise Grid. On Slack Free, message history is limited to 90 days, but the integration itself functions the same across all tiers.

Can I send notifications to a private Slack channel?

Yes — the SupportSyndicate Slack app can post to private channels if it is manually invited to that channel (/invite @SupportSyndicate) after installation.
